WTF? I know LJ is now owned by Russians, but RuTube?

You know, gorgeous Russian girls can dress up, bleach their hairs, wear makeup and even make music videos for their own YouTube clones - perhaps to try to look and sound like your typical California beach girls. But that's all they can hope to do: be mere replicas ( Read more... )

I never was anti-HD-DVD...I just am glad my investment was ok. And luckily I got the PS3 so all that online stuff I will be able to do. I do feel bad for people who bought stand-alone Blu-Ray players cos they won't be able to upgrade ( ... )

Ahh I see. I dunno. We're just happy with watching Blu-Ray and regular DVD movies...to me everything looks awesome. I just bought what I thought was going to win-out long-term and it was Blu-Ray. Looks like I wasn't alone. I was just looking out for us :)

But really...I think the disc format is a waste since most people will be using things like appletv to just download HD movies. We'll see.

Yeah, replied to the wrong comment.

Anyway, I completely agree with your Dad. HD-DVD IS the better format. But like most things, people don't always pick the "better" and "best" choices.

I don't regret picking HD-DVD first myself.

I told a male friend about your valentine's day blog about myspace and whatnot, and he thought it was wonderful.

Steph, nice to hear that someone else outside of my list found my comments about myspace amusing. And thanks for the comment, by the way. I'm sorry for taking so long to respond. In addition to being away, I haven't had much time to do livejournal stuff.

Hope you are having a great weekend.

well, i do feel that i want to comment on this.
Not only California's got beaches (and bitches). The video looks more like typical Turkish resort party. Have you ever been in Turkey?

Your words sound sarcastic and disrespectful. Do you feel like pointing a finger and giving advice concerning things you know nothing about (i read your comments in the Minsk LJ coomunity) is your priority?

Perhaps i sound too rude. I never mean to offend anybody. It's just the way i express my opinions.

LOL!!

I have been to Istanbul. I don't know what you mean - that song is Russian. It's probably filmed in a studio, or in Sochi. Who knows.

Thanks for your comments but don't you think maybe you are a bit too sensitive? I was not sarcastic and how can you say I was disrespectful? I was talking about the old German Nazis and wondered how someone from your country want to be with a German. That is not disrespectful. I would ask the same question if the woman is from Israel. And I never gave her or anyone any advice. You are mistaken. I respect and enjoy the people of your city.

Yeah, you're right. Probably i am a bit sensitive, especially after a horrible day, such as i had yesterday ( ... )

Sure, you may ask me anything. But before I answer, what is the reason for your question? What does it matter what my ethnic background is? What if I was white, or Native American, black, Hispanic, Russian, etc.?

Yes, I watched Schindler's List. It was a good movie, but I found it was too depressing or too tragic to watch it again. I don't blame or fault anyone for wanting a better life. In fact, I sort of admire them for making that step. That is a very difficult decision. I can only hope that if there was no love before the marriage that somehow true love will blossom in the future. But sure, I don't disagree with you.
