one week from tomorrow i go in for surgery.

cheers to no solids for up to 5 weeks & numbness in my face for maybe the rest of my life.

my jaw's crooked somehow.
they get to saw through it & do surgery near a nerve ending in order to fix it.
it's "common"... but i don't know anyone who's had it done.

good christ, that sounds worse than when they pulled out three of my teeth and dragged a fourth one out from within my gums to attach it to braces. i'm sure it won't be as bad as all the disclaimers they give you, though. and since they're putting you to sleep, you'll probably just wake up in your house. easy peasy.
