I watched Broadchurch S2 and thought it was good in many ways, but definitely not up to the standards of S1.

( A few thoughts, including massive spoilers for the endings of both series )

I have to say that I was horribly disappointed that they'd even contemplated a Season 2 for Broadchurch; since S1 was so beautifully realised and worked-out. However, it was nice to see Charlotte Rampling and her plotline.

I agree with you about what they did to Joe Miller. It was a bad betrayal of all they'd worked on in S1.

And now we're supposed to be breathlessly waiting for S3 here in UK. *sigh*
