Book Prices are Crazy; new Kindle Fires

I don't mean crazy expensive (well, yes, in some cases) but just plain crazy, as in jumping all around everywhere.  The first book in Jacqueline Carey's new series went from $11.04 to $4.55, and I've seen other sudden jumps recently on books by Brandon Sanderson, Veronica Roth and Stephen Baxter, among others.  Sometimes they go back up, sometimes ( Read more... )

Thanks for this reminder. I used to use eReaderIQ quite a lot, but they discontinued the Canada/UK tracking and for some reason I got confused and thought it was gone across the board. So I've just moved some books from my Canada ('no longer supported') list to my U.S. one. Yay! \o/

Yes, I'm debating whether to upgrade to a new 16 GB HD, not the HDX. It's a lot more space for $169, but I'm not sure it's worth it as long as my old LCD 1st gen one still works, you know? Hmmm.
