[She picks up the phone, opens her mouth to speak, then promptly has to put it down again as she bursts into tears.

Roughly 15 minutes later she picks the phone back up. She starts off speaking shakily, but quickly becomes passionate as she goesMore houses are being attacked

Most kind of reinforcements, especially one from one who sounds so young, can give people hope.

[ Tsuna happens to walk by, hurrying over to her and kneeling, taking her into his arms in what is supposed to be a not awkward, comforting hug. ]

Tsukiko, it's okay...[ he knows it's not, that anything could happen at any moment...]

[She turns and buries her face into his shoulder, gripping at his shirt and trying not to just outright sob. Her shoulders shake and her voice is thick with emotion]

It is, I know it is, but...we have to be, not just for ourselves, but everyone else. It's okay to cry though, sometimes.

[ he kind of understands, god knows he's wanted to do it himself alot lately ]

[she wipes at her eyes and just leans against him, comforted with the embrace]

Deep down... I want to hide. I want to run away, to cover my eyes and ears and wait for it to pass. [She shakes her head a little]

But I know I can't do that.

Being united isn't necessarily good.

Then you've always had housemates that got along well.

For the most part, but this is on a much bigger scale. It's easier said than done though, I suppose.

...I agree on staying united, but there is a time where one needs to make the necessary sacrifice. You sound young, and it's easy for you to say these things. But when people's lives and safety are on the line there are things a person must do.

It isn't about letting them win, it's about saving lives.

But people running into a panic, accusing others of things they didn't do and causing innocent lives to be lost isn't going to help anyone eihter.

I have yet to see a panic nor much accusing. If correct information is given the violence may cease. How far are we willing to go? Until they get the entire town? This is where we need to ask ourselves which is more important; pride or the lives of innocents.

I'm willing to die many times over if it means getting all the information we can out of that man that might be vital in getting everyone home.
