is a strange experience. while watching the movie i enjoyed it enough despite various glaring problems, but, as the night wore on after the movie i began to dislike it more and more, particularly the mishandling of xavior's and magneto's characters. i also missed the covert operations that made the other movies great and would have made more

i'm going to see x-men 3 soon, but you've rather dampened my enthusiasm.

i think i will go see it on sunday -- did you go into the movie knowing you'd be disappointed?

i dont think so. i certainly had lowered expectations but didnt expect to be disappointed. dont get me wrong, its an ok movie, but if you know enough about how the characters from other sources and care about staying at least partially true to those sources, then you might have the same reaction as me.

on the bright side, if you like explosions, get ready son.
