I'm an update whore, sue me. I just found something that I remember having read to me as a kid. This poem is just... it has so many happy memories attached to it that I'm stoked to have found it again. The Internet rocks my socks, kthx.
Wynken, Blynken, and Nod (Dutch Lullaby)

Wynken, Blynken, and Nod one night
Sailed off in a wooden shoe---
Sailed on a river of crystal light,
Into a sea of dew.
"Where are you going, and what do you wish?"
The old moon asked the three.
"We have come to fish for the herring fish
That live in this beautiful sea;
Nets of silver and gold have we!"
Said Wynken,
Blynken,
And Nod.
The old moon laughed and sang a song,
As they rocked in the wooden shoe,
And the wind that sped them all night long
Ruffled the waves of dew.
The little stars were the herring fish
That lived in that beautiful sea---
"Now cast your nets wherever you wish---
Never afeard are we";
So cried the stars to the fishermen three:
Wynken,
Blynken,
And Nod.
All night long their nets they threw
To the stars in the twinkling foam---
Then down from the skies came the wooden shoe,
Bringing the fishermen home;
'T was all so pretty a sail it seemed
As if it could not be,
And some folks thought 't was a dream they 'd dreamed
Of sailing that beautiful sea---
But I shall name you the fishermen three:
Wynken,
Blynken,
And Nod.
Wynken and Blynken are two little eyes,
And Nod is a little head,
And the wooden shoe that sailed the skies
Is a wee one's trundle-bed.
So shut your eyes while mother sings
Of wonderful sights that be,
And you shall see the beautiful things
As you rock in the misty sea,
Where the old shoe rocked the fishermen three:
Wynken,
Blynken,
And Nod.
I am so stoked on that now... I'm going to be smiling all evening!
In other news, I made an icon that was supposed to be for soul_collective, but I decided I liked it too much and now I want to use it as my default icon only I can't because I need to buy my journal account (no, I'm not begging, lmao, really - I just need to locate a credit card that is still in credit)... So for now it's my default writing journal one.
I also need to get Kazaa again, because I really need Adobe back again, and I need PSP... Not that either of them worked properly last time I downloaded them, but still. I want them and can't afford to buy them, so I'll settle for second best. I had to reformat my system the other day - Sunday - so the only things I really kept were my Word files and my Linkin Park pictures. Oh, and the pictures people have emailed me or sent me via MSN and stuff.
I'm covered in gnat bites, which sucks the big one. They itch and I'm not good with itchy things. I scratch them. More scars. Fab-o.
Nothing else exciting to relate... I think this is my last update for today... How excited are you now? Haha!
