Rather a pretentious title to the letter I picked up this afternoon...

For some strange reason, the marks are based on letter grades: C+ = 50-54%, B- = 55-59%, B = 60-64% ... A = 75-79%, A+ = 80+%. The pass mark for the course is B- / 55%, so a high 2ii or better.

For modules 1A/1B, a quarter of the marks are pass/fail for coursework and three quarters for the exam.


Module 1A
Exam: A+
Overall (Coursework + Exam): A+

Module 1B
Exam: A+
Overall (Coursework + Exam): A+

So, um, I guess my predictions were an underestimate this time.
My overall marks have to be at least 85%, simply due to the coursework averaging.
