This song is about a girl that I dated four years of my life. I thought that I was gonna spend the rest of my life with her, sadly, that isn't the way that it went. I ended up having to leave Michigan without ever getting the chance to say good-bye to her. The good news is that I got to see her last summer...after six years! It was all worth it though cause I got to see that shine in her eyes that I still love to this day. Anyways, that's the story behind the song...me thinking of her.
