Theo: there will be booze

Theo: piles of booze

Eomund: *glee* Then yes. Do I have to bring gifts and stuff or is simply not completely embarrassing you on your special day gift enough?

Theo: the last.

I told Dryh and Gilraen they needed to hurry because we'd be late, and apparently we were a lot later than I thought we would be. x_x

Well. Afterparty time for everyone else then. I still have something to drink somewhere. Like ... ice water. Nice'n clean.

*eyes Eomund* And I am so not related to you.

((Wow... That was the most fun blast-from-the-past I've ever had. I kinda forgot I ever did that scene... Man, those were the days.

Also, er... what? Rohirrim lang?))

Your blog URL, names within this dialogue... It gave me ideas about Rohirrim language. In fact Tokien used Old English as the language of Rohirrims.

Yes, he did. More or less... They seem to talk in Common, a.k.a Ye Olde English, but there are hints to some other, ancient underlying language that they lugged with them from the North-East. There's a lot of Nordic/Germanic/thingy influence in how the Rohirrim name things...

And, if that was indeed your meaning when you said 'Can you write it Rohirrim lang?', I don't think I'll 'translate' that scene into any 'lang'... It came from a parody RP game, and although the purist in me shudders at the memory of it, I really enjoyed it and would like to always remember it in its original, if a bit horrifying, form.
