I'm proud of you for speaking up :) I think you had a good argument and hope your instructor agrees with you! He's at least thinking about it, that's some progress :)

Believe me, it was purely instinctual. You cannot put a gun to my head to make me watch most SD shit anymore, and the idea that anyone with access to anything that can be termed HD would shoot SD makes me want to be ill.

Aw good for you for expressing your opinion...I hope the lecturer really will take it into consideration and do what he can to change it to HD instead.

Also good for you for being the one to take initiative with your group...get that email sent out soon! It's a good idea and perhaps it will motivate some of your group members to get a move on.

Well, it was not really just an opinion, either. The inability to convert video (or any visual entity) up once it has been recorded in a lower resolution is a carved-in-stone fact.

Sadly, I have been watching my mailbox with great interest in the last few days and the other group members still have not replied or sent anything! I cannot believe this group at times.

I know what you mean about not wanting to go backward...now that i have DSL I would never go back to dial-up! :P

I once had a cable modem, and I really wish I could go back (or rather, forward) to that. Although ADSL 2 is supposedly faster than cable, but I cannot get ADSL 2 in my present area. *grumble*
