all right so my 1st sgt just told me i have a choice whether i go on the next deployment or get out of the army, where originally i had no idea what was coming and had to prep for both

Although your comrades are important, if you don't take care of yourself then everyone else will suffer.
If you feel physically and mentally capable of continuing your stay with the military and WANT to continue to stay, it might be the right choice for you.
But only you can make that decision.
Don't forget, however, that making a decision based solely at the discretion on how it might affect others is a poorly made choice. Never forget yourself.
