magic
so there was one very intresting game of magic today.
cutting to the chase my creature hate deck was finaly in the perfect position, there we were, a 5 player hunt w/ me a the onl rogue. i'm at 2 life and jorge just got eaten by some friendly elves. i'm at 2 life and roger seems to be having some trouble with his deck. Juan is sitting back with only a few slivers and and he and julia are haveing a lovely couple fight between elves and slivers. julia leaves juan a lone for a turn and forces him to hit up roger of a little life. and roger decides to suecide from manna burn. juan, now a rogue, decides to leave me at 2 life while he faces down w/ julia. i sit back and draw a card, IT'S PHAGE! so i sit back with the threat that if anyone attacks me i'mm kill them w/ their lands from my pestilence and kahmal combo. i sit back, knowing that at any moment i could ba attacked and i need one more black manna to pull out my phage, but it would be suecide to do that, since as soon as she hit the table someone would try to kill me off.then juan makes a deal w/ me, if i help him kill off the elves, he'll concide to me. so i agree and i pull out my quicksliver amulet and by the end of his trun i drop phage. i dub her w/ shadow and ilimnate the elves. then juan concides to me.
no upon reflection of the play i could have easily killed juan as soon as my next turn came around, since i gained 5 life from julias death, putting me to 7 life, and juan only had 5 slivers in play, i could have pestilenced for 2 and killed all but one and the last one would not have been able to get through me. there were so many opertunities for me to die, and i would have been killed off earlier if i wasn't a rogue.

that was a fun game.
