Settling in to LA

I've been settling into things in LA nicely, save for my sprained ankle. Here are some highlights of my first week here:

- A much-anticipated date that went took a sharp turn into the land of just friends. Really, truly for the best. But it was a curveball

My broken-ankle story is kinda lame, too, although "freak Christmas-light-viewing injury" does at least raise eyebrows.
