Y'know I think you're doing the right thing with the Capri. I was just thinking the other day that we never changed the front timing cover over. Well worth doing, as the SD1 cover sites everything further down and more compactly for a car installation.
I'm well behind you taking a step back from it all and retracing your steps with it. It'll be worth it when it's done!

I'm going back to London Friday morning, but am currently in the garage in Ravenshead using an assortment of hammers on the Landy. If you want to drop around for a chat/drink/curry at any point you'd be more than welcome. Dad'd be well up for a chat about the Mercedes job!
