General Abilities
Despite his appearance (age: 14, height: about 4'9", weight: ... way too little), Ren is surprisingly strong - he's capable of wielding his (formerly Bason's) kwan dao, Basontou, which, according to Wikipedia, can weigh up to 100 kg. He's also well-trained in martial arts, as well as wielding different Chinese mêlée weapons.
Shamanic Abilities
Being a shaman, Ren possesses a highly developed sixth sense. Shamans are, as described by Yoh, links between this world and the other one - they can see spirits and communicate with, or even channel them. As Hao explains, shamans are capable of seeing the "inside" instead of the "outside" - hence their ability to see spirits. All of them also possess an ability named Reishi - the power of reading people's minds and hearts - but only to some degree. Ren cannot read people's thoughts, though it's notable he's quite good a reading people - which might or might not be connected with the Reishi.
Since Ren is a pretty talented shaman, he knows a number of shamanic techniques. They're listed in the order of usage in the manga (or so I hope), along with the explanation of some terms needed to understand them.
Mochirei - shaman's main spirit used by them to fight. They possess a certain amount of reiryoku (lit. spirit power), which determines their strength.
Current spirit:
Bason - seirei-class human spirit; a 500 years-old spirit of a Chinese general. Most of the time, he can be seen following Ren in the more handy hitodama mode; | reiryoku: 25,000
Other spirits:
Kokutoh - animal (horse) spirit; | reiryoku: 1,500
Spirit of Thunder - one of the Five Grand Spirits; | reiryoku: 330,000
Furyoku (巫力, spiritual power) - the measure of shaman's sixth sense. It is used to materialize the spirit in form of an Over Soul.
An average shaman's furyoku level is about 5,000. If they train hard and long enough, they might even get to about 10,000. Of course, Ren is no average shaman...

Hyoi Gattai (憑依合体, Spirit Unity) - this shamanic technique enables the shaman to integrate spirits into their body, forming a "unity" of both, their spirit and that of the ghost. The shaman would enter a special trance which enables them to synchronize their spirit with that of the ghost; allowing the ghost to possess their body and enabling the ghost to interact with the physical world. Furthermore, once integrated, the shaman takes on the knowledge, abilities, speed, etc. of the ghost.
Ren is capable of performing Hyoi 100%, which gives him the complete integration with the spirit and its whole strength.
Over Soul - a technique that allows the user to integrate the spirit with an item (medium) and materialize it with their furyoku. There is a number of Over Souls developed by Ren in the series, so they will be described later in this post.
NOTES:
-) though materialized, Over Souls are still only visible to those who have an ability to see spirits;
-) an O.S. can only be destroyed by another O.S.; however, O.S. can also be broken when its user loses concentration, is low on furyoku, etc. O.S. can also be destroyed by the furyoku nullification technique;
-) Over Souls do not cast shadows;
Chou.Senji Ryakketsu (超•占事略決, The Great Summary to Judgements of Divinations) - a set of shamanic techniques developed by Hao 1,000 years ago.
Fumon Tonkou (巫門遁甲) - the most commonly used spell of the Chou.Senji Ryakketsu; using this spell enables one to read the flow of furyoku and determine its course. Used correctly this technique will allow you to dodge most furyoku induced attacks.

Chuuka Zanmai (中華斬舞, Chinese Slash Dance) - it consists of a series of of fast thrust attacks with the Basontou.
Golden Chuuka Zanmai (ゴールデン中華斬舞, Golden Chinese Slash Dance) - the stronger version of Chuuka Zanmai.
O.S. Big Over Soul (yeah, the first O.S. do not have any fancy names...)

Attacks:
Golden Punch (ゴールデンパンチ) - materializing Bason's arms, Ren can use his oversoul to punch his opponent with great force and speed.
Golden Double Sledgehammer (ゴールデンダブルスレッジハンマー) - materialized Bason slams down his fists together on an opponent following the movement of the kwan dao.
Chou! Golden Chuuka Zanmai (超!ゴールデン中華斬舞, Ultra! Chinese Slash Dance) - materializing Bason's complete upper body at the tip of his Kwan Dao Ren allows Bason to wield an oversoul kwan dao, so he can perform Golden Chuuka Zanmai of much greater power and size.
Spirit: Bason / Kokutoh
Medium: Basontou (kwan dao) / Hakuoh (horse)
Attacks:
Perfect Chuuka Zanmai (完全再現中華斬舞, Perfect Chinese Slash Dance) - by putting the spirit of Bason's horse, Kokutoh, inside Ren's shamanic-trained horse, Hakuoh, the Chou! Golden Chuuka Zanmai becomes an even stronger attack. It's also quite risky, as creating two Over Souls at the same time uses up a great deal of furyoku.
O.S. Bushin (武神, God of Military Arts)
O.S. type: spirit/weapon type
Spirit: Bason
Medium: Houraiken (sword) - NOT APPLICABLE TO M-E (lost item) | one-handed steel sword (M-E)
Description: This O.S. takes the form of a giant kwan dao, however its shape can be changed to any weapon Bason has ever wielded.
Attacks:
Tougenkyou (刀幻境, Blade Illusion) - by thrusting his sword into the ground, Ren can make several blade weapons (e.g. spears, halberds, etc.) slide out from the ground around him. The more furyoku he puts into it, the more weapons are created and the faster it becomes.
Shisen Tougenkyou (四閃刀幻境, Quadruple Blade Illusion) - it consists of four attacks (hence the name): Sou (槍, spear), Tou (刀, sword), Geki (戟, halberd) and Tajin (多刃, multi-blade). Using this technique, Ren can attack with all those weapons at very high speed. Basically, it's a combination of Chuuka Zanmai and Tougenkyou.
