Neverwhere - Neil Gaiman. I hope he does get around to writing The Seven Sisters some day.

The current one... am a big fan of computational linguistics.
time of year?
Autumn, probably. Not a fan of Summer or Winter, and spring is kinda spoiled by the impending hay fever of summer - it's over by the autumn and, despite the fact that the world is 'dying' by that time of year, the academic year always makes it feel like a time of rebirth.
holiday destination?
Japan. Particularly Shibuya (part of Tokyo), but Kyoto and Nara were amazing. Definitely a great place to visit, especially travelling along with the sakura front.
place to live?
Santa Monica Beach, Los Angeles County, California.
