Making My Chef-In-The-Box Explode - I stole this from bouteillebleu, but it's a Kingdom of Loathing reference. A Chef-in-the-Box is a device which allows you to cook food without taking any time, but if it's used too much it explodes - an in the explosion produces such delicacies as Chorizo Brownies or White Chocolate and Tomato pizza.
日本語 (nihongo) - is Japanese for Japanese (language), which I can speak/read/write rather badly but keep trying to learn. From left to right, the individual characters mean "sun", "root" and "language" - the first two are the country (this is where "land of the rising sun" comes from) and the last glyph can be stuck after any country name - 英語 ("Britain" + "language" = "English"), フランス語 ("France" + "language" = "French").
Diet Coke - is my main source of fluids (and caffeine), as I drink about 4L a day. I seem to be drinking an awful lot of it this year, on account of (pretty much) giving up beer as a New Year's resolution.
