"Reacting to reports that La Salle could be banned for divulging the offense, Pumaren said it would be unfair to compare La Salle to Adamson which was suspended in 1994 for fielding an ineligible player.
"They (UAAP board) have to consider na sa amin (La Salle), it (fielding ineligible player) was not done in bad faith. In fact, La Salle should even be commended because we declared this in public, kung sa ibang school iyan baka hindi mai-declare iyan," Pumaren said. "Sa Adamson, talagang dinaya eh. That was a bad case."
Pumaren said what transpired was an "honest mistake," saying he had no inkling that one of the players he fielded in the past three seasons had "spurious high school documents."

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Commended?!? Really?!?
Okay. You cheated for three years. Then you admit that it was an honest mistake. Honest mistake or not, it doesn't erase the fact that you cheated, right? For example you cheat in an exam in school, then tell your professor afterward that you cheated, do you think you'd be given punishment or merit? Hmmm.
Oh and I bet, "they" are already doing something to make their school look like a saint -- even if it means putting other institutions down. I've heard the rumors; it's coming soon.
