Please read this if you have finished the latest installment of the Harry Potter series. I don't plan on reading it, since I haven't read any of the others, but I still want to know how it ended, and I've gotten conflicting accounts of the ending thus far.

The second one is closer to the truth, only I don't think he was brought back to life by the wand but instead by the fact that some of his blood was used by Voldemort for Voldemort to bring himself back to life.

someone telling you that harry potter died in the last book is about as good as them telling you trinity got killed in the last matrix film.

more or less, the second story is true minus the wand bit, harry was able to wake up (after having a meeting in the matrix with dumbledore) and play possum until an oppertunity arose for him to fight his way out (cue: angry wizard mobs)
