Maniac!!

OK, someone please tell me how the hell I get 1000 orbs in maniac mode for Phil's Training.  I've been bustin my ass and my high score is 890.  It's really really starting to affect my social life (like I have one to begin with) and my mental state.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Take off all the combo/air combo plus abilities, and equip as many negative combos as you can. It's the finishers that destroy the pots, so some of those may help, but nothing particular comes to mind. Also, make sure to equip the draw ability. You should be fine that way.

Hmmm... Don't be so negative. What's the reach of your keyblade? The longer the reach, the more pots you hit. Also, I'd suggest charging into large masses of pots, as opposed to attacking the smaller groups. If there aren't that many pots on the field, just smack a few until others pop up. Also, items boosts like jackpot/lucky lucky (I don't remember which is which right now) can be of help.

I have the Ultima Weapon...but I've been trying that one and Follow the Wind (since it has Draw). I feel sometimes I'm getting them fast enough. But sometimes there are no pots on the screen and I have to waste a few seconds running around until more appear.

I think this will be a matter of luck....I'm hoping my luck will turn soon, cuz I'm really starting to get irked.

Maybe I'll move on to trying to get the high score on the Titan Cup. That one I'm not even close on. You need 5000 pts and I'm only getting 1000 or so. I think I'm too strong, so I can't pull off good enough combos before they're already smashed to bits. Any way I can remedy that?
