Well, I do. Don't get me wrong. It's obvious she plagiarized and her publisher was right to pull the book from the shelves. Seriously, the evidence is indisputable since there are 24 passages in question and a 14-word phrase that is verbatim from McCafferty's Sloppy Firsts. I don't buy this guy's defense of Kaavya because his entire argument

I think that this has gotten really out of hand and that we all really need to just stop focusing on it. We all make mistakes, can't we move on?
I would still buy something of hers.

The worst thing is, that indian parents always compare their children..what are they going to be saying to her family now?
