Who knew that having a full time job would be so draining? I really need the weekends to recover. At least this weekend, I'm not doing much except volunteering on Saturday. I really need to catch up on sleep. I only got six hours last night because I was reading a paper for work. A paper that my boss said would only take a couple hours to read, but ( Read more... )

I really want to see both movies. I've been holding my breath for months for The Squid...I'm glad A Prairie Home was good.

Yes, working full time really sucks. I should know. :-)

As far as movies go, I'm not nearly as cultured as I'd like to think. I'm pretty much entertained by all kinds of movies, and I don't necessarily catch plot holes and such (unless we're talking about comic book movies!). However, being an actor for a short time in my life really makes me pick up on bad acting, and bad acting really really bothers me. For example, I used to think Vince Vaughn was funny, but after seeing The Break Up today, I am beginning to get tired of the same character he plays in every movie. However, we also saw Cars, which was excellent, as all the Pixar movies are. I had no idea what Prairie Home Companion was about, so we decided to wait to Netflix it. Altman kind of scares me, although not as much as Wes Anderson.

I totally loved Praire Home Companion and I loved that Lindsay Lohan was all death death death... and Ms. Meryl Street was just too awesome with Lily Tolmin

Haha, the Meryl Streep Lily Tomlin scenes were awesome. I'd hate to be the person that is in charge of closed captioning this movie!
