Jodie Foster is defending Mel Gibson. This is so sad. A huge blow has been struck on the "I love Jodie Foster so that you don't have to" blog. In fact, all my favorites have been going crazy lately. Lindsay did a kiddie porno shoot at Jeremy Piven's house, Julianne Moore made Freedomland, and now this Jodie Foster debacle ( Read more... )

There is something to be said for standing by friends in times of need and no matter how stupid they get. That being said...WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY THINKING?!?!?! Career suicide. Tacit "approval" in a way of what he said. He was drunk, yes. Above the legal limit, yes. But wasn't it only like .13 or something? Isn't that about 3-4 drinks? Not the 15 most people need to be so trashed that they say nonsence (we'll get back to the in vino veritas part, I promise.) I think he was possibly not even as drunk as he wants us to believe, not that it's helping ( ... )

Wow. I had no idea you hate Mel this much. Your points are all valid and I agree with you. It's a lose-lose situation for Mel. If he says the alcohol made him an anti-semite, then he's a drunkard which is very un-Christian (not to mention the argument is flawed as you pointed out). And if he's not a drunkard, then he hates Jews like his father which is far far worse. And that's the reason why the media blitz wants us to believe that he was trashed off his gourd and he is entering rehab. It's all a facade. Either way, he is a terrible Christian.

P.S. Passion of the Christ was one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
