For the diversity question, I wanted to write something like "Diversity is overrated. If everyone was diverse, then no one would be diverse, morons. Besides, shouldn't you be caring about things like aptitude instead?"

But alas, I actually wanted to go to this school...

I am not sure I understand or agree with what you are saying on diversity. Remember, when they talk about diversity, they mean two things. One, differences from middle-class white people. And two, differences from your norms.

Yea, so I answered it meaning the second definition, because let's face it. I'm pretty much the same as a middle-class white person. Thus, I talked about my majors and why I want to be a doctor.

But what I meant is that to be diverse, you need to be different from something. Yet, if they expect everyone to be diverse, then there is no core from which to be different. The medical school applicant pool is so homogeneous. College educated, good scores, extroverted, ambitious, etc. And is it really important to embrace diversity when every single person is going to be learning the same exact curriculum while they are in school? It's like they are recruiting "diverse" people just so they can make them all the same.
