I have interviews at Maryland, Wisconsin, and Case Western. If you remember back to a previous entry, Case Western was my first choice, so I am totally stoked. Well, now Yale and Case Western are sort of battling it out for my top spot, but still, I am really excited!

I'm excited that you're excited. I wish you all the best. I know its a bit early to be asking this question, but do you have a specialty in mind already? You know I've been watching Grey's Anatomy this season and it made me wonder what program you might choose. My other friend whos already in Med school is going Radiologist, so I was just wondering.

I applied to MD/PhD programs which have a slightly different focus. Most people end up doing a combination of practicing medicine and doing research, but research is the primary focus.

In any case, I want to go into infectious disease research, so I guess that is sort of like a specialty.
