In a surprise twist of events, I had an emergency appendectomy on Monday morning. I was released from the hospital on Tuesday and I am walking around now (although my throat is INCREDIBLY sore from the breathing tubes

Oh no! I'm so sorry. That's awful. On the other hand, if anyone will understand an emergency appendectomy....it's the medical professionals at Oxford.
