Wow, in your fashion, there is so much I want to say in response to that, because I love it when I see someone else is so overly excited about stuff like this, because the bass is an amazing instrument and yay I am so glad you play that instend of the guitar. Not that I have anything against guitars, duh, but its so cliche'. Everybody plays guitar. And I am also happy because I love Jaco Pastorius, and you talking about him jsut reminds me how happy I am that my dad is the weird dad who had us listening to everything from Frank Zappa to Miles Davis to Janes Addiction since I was a baby. So I grew up hearing so many amaaaaaaaaaazing artists where you listen and you just think "What, how the hell are they doing that?!?!" Also, it's great that you mention Paul because I tinhk the Beatles so often get pegged as these undeniable cultural icons, so people forget that they are also just really good at what they do. And, you said something about how the musician makes it easy (in reference to playing the bass) and I don't know that I agree

I love the bass. I wish I could know what you're talking about when you name those people, but I don't because I haven't been exposed to them like you and sara and most people who don't live under rocks. It makes me really happy, like sara, to hear you sounding so enthusiastic about something you really love, and I don't get that from you too often. It's nice. That radio's from your kitchen. I remember hearing it.
