Junsu couldn't help but notice the uncanny resemblance.
Junsu couldn’t help but notice the uncanny resemblance. He smiles, and decides to stare at him. He won’t notice anyway, he tells himself. And he probably wouldn’t, considering how focused he is at the moment. He had no idea it was actually true. Everyone’s been telling him how this man shares the same face with his lover and he’d only tell them “I don’t think so. Only Hyukjae has that kind of face. And that’s not a compliment at all.” He had no time to watch TV and Changmin kept on hogging the computer so he couldn’t google who this Tablo person was. He hadn’t got a slightest clue what he looks like.
That was until he finally met the man for a promotional campaign. He remembers how he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him. He even thought it was Hyukjae trying to pull a stupid prank on him. “Tablo.” the man had introduced himself.
He’s going to be in a band with his boyfriend’s doppelganger.
Junsu watches as Tablo mumbles, eyes trained on a piece of paper. Said man would scrunch up his nose and shake his head when he thinks there’s something off with the lyrics, just like Hyukjae. Unconsciously, he lets out a chuckle and blinks when Tablo looks up at him in confusion. He shakes his head and tells him he remembered something funny, which wasn’t a complete lie.
Tablo goes back to checking his lines before he starts recording and Junsu tries to busy himself with his phone. He finds himself shamelessly staring at the man again when he starts rapping his lines, words smoothly flowing from his mouth. He blinks, mouth hanging open in awe. He’s not sure if it’s just him and because he’s hopelessly in love with Hyukjae but, “He sounds just like him.” he mutters, not loud enough to catch Tablo’s attention.
During the months they’ve worked together for the campaign, he’s learned that aside from the looks, a few mannerisms, love for music and the voice, Tablo isn’t like Hyukjae at all. There is so much difference that would take him days to list every single thing. No matter how much people find them exactly alike, there is only one man with that kind of face who laughs at the lamest jokes, eats anything that he cooks even if it isn’t edible, calls him late at night just to tell him how much he misses him, plays soccer with him butt naked, and only one man with that kind of face who loves him with all his heart, mind, and soul.
