Pretty sure if you tell itunes to "organize my music automatically" it will move everything around into its itunes folder and automatically keep track of it. I prefer manual tho.
I'm not worried about organization. I keep music all over my computer.
With the Zune software you have a specific music folder (or multiple music folders) and any time you put any music files into those folders, it automatically imports it into the Zune library and then syncs it to the device. There is no need to "Add to Library". Yeah, it's all just laziness, instead of dragging and dropping a folder into another folder, I have to select it in the menu.
Right; what I'm saying is that itunes can do that, I believe, but I thik you have to have it set for itunes to organize your music for it to use that option, and thus you can then put stuff into the itunes folder; but I've never used itunes organization so I can't confirm this.
I never got used to the Zune I bought after Ships and Dip 1, how thick are the current Zunes and iPod Classics compared to the iPod Touch ? I feel very good with my 16GB-Touch. But thinking of it in aspects of value it might not have been the best choice ;) Try to have fun with it... see ya in 3 weeks
