Sometimes I favor the Facebook more and neglect LJ. I need to stop doing that. Maybe someone will invent an app that sends all of your status stuff to LJ like the Twitterers have ( Read more... )

I'll keep my 'Knowing' comments spoiler-free for those who haven't seen it yet. Stacy & I were REALLY into it. I thought the story was fascinating and I couldn't wait to see where it was going.....but then we saw. If they were to chop off the last 1/4 of the film and re-write it, it could have been an incredible experience.

We're not fans of Idol (never seen ANY episodes) but we got a kick out of seeing one of the contestants sing "Mad World" from Donnie Darko a couple weeks ago when we tuned to Fox to watch Fringe. We've been watching that movie quite a bit lately and the timing was freaky (we even bought a 12" talking Frank the Bunny figure).

I say this with respect to your opinion; I agree pretty much about your undiscovered talent beef, but that's the show... They let them on, and they have for a while. I keep seeing people with existing websites on the show so... my comments are with a "that said..." in mind; but I don't see "identicality" in Adam's performances. Born to Be Wild was similar to his Michael Jackson Performance. If you think Mad World was the same as this week... I'm sorry; I don't see it. Most of Mad World was very reserved, very soft falsetto. Not shreiking; yes it did have one line with a buildup, but quickly dropped back down. To me, that doesn't mean the performance is the same: it means that's part of his style ( ... )
