Okay okay okay so I either need to decide what college I am going to tonight or tomorrow morning. IT IS HARD TO DECIDE.
Coleman: Feel glad about going o MCAD because it is one of my top choices! The building is pretty much the only art school I've been to with actually frequent windows instead of looking like a dungeon. They don't have dorm rooms for housing, just apartments, but you are guaranteed apartments if you are from out of state. I saw one of the small ones and it was super nice. It also probably has the best stuff to do- it is near the gigantic mall of America which has an indoor themepark and an aquarium and maybe more. There was a black dude who came up and asked if he could have my slice of pizza and I was like "waaaat" and he got scared away when my dad rescued me but the pizza was kinda bad anyway so I sort of wish I had given it to him even though that is still a little weird but I'm getting off track. Anyway, I also saw a super big indoor waterpark nearby. So out of all the colleges it has the best stuff to do around campus. I negative/positive is that they only have 800 kids so you will probably get to know all of them quick. The animation area is pretty cruddy and while some of their senior animators were good some were unbelievably bad. they looked like they treated their comics guys a lot better though.
My other choice is SCAD which might suck because of all the bros comin in and sayin' "I WANNA DO ART" because they aint good at anything else (something I thought MCAD avoided until I saw that one senior's project). I am pretty sure I already raved about SCAD somewhere in a secret collect?
I guess those are my top two! SVA has/had some good animation animators coming out of there but I just can't bring myself to go there :/ It might be because it came off as kind of crappy? NO OFFENSE THOUGH. At USC Tom Sito is a pretty cool guy but they also have this friggin mental patient running the program.
Frick I have degraded into looking up weather patterns for these friggin places. Savannah looks like it has more rain which I like but Minneapolis might have more cloudy days which I like. Savannah has a moderate climate but Minneapolis has temperatures in the 10s! But the stuff is indoors there and I don't know about you guys but indoors is pretty much superior to outdoors.
SCAD is super haunted everywhere but Minneapolis has random black dudes gunnin for your pizza! MCAD doesn't have An on campus health center which is kind of bad, but it also has rollercoasters based on Nicktoons that are no longer funny!
CAPS LOCK IS GOIN' ON BECAUSE I AM DOWN TO THE WIRE
THROW ME SOME BONES HOMIEES
Edit: Looks like I'm going to SCAD. I figured the longer I spent making the decision the longer I'd regret whatever one I made! I like the others but I think SCAD is best for me.
