Just for the heck of it, here's what I thought about my rec basketball team near the start of the season. Rock Throwaz finished with a terrible record, including several forfeits when we didn't have enough players show up. I love sports contests. After a cold streak, I am doing pretty well in them recently. I won my NCAA draft (see February 28 entry) and will come in second in my 16-person pool if Kansas and Memphis make the title game, though to be fair the chance of that is a little under 25%. I am also in good shape in my NBA playoff draft pool.

Until yesterday, I had never eaten a banana. I had eaten pieces of bananas in other foods, but never just one on its own. I was planning to eat a banana on Thursday either before or after my basketball game, but the store I went to beforehand didn't have them and I just didn't think of it afterward.
