TWO dead bodies...one angsting(?) Prince. Drama llama, sorry for long.

Dear City,
My name is Schneizel el Brittannia. Excuse the excessive formality, as I have just recently arrived in the City and am not quite familiar with making this kind of "post." I have met but few of you, but for the moment that is of little importance. What I come to ask you for now, is help.

Perhaps few of you realize, with all the chaos that ( Read more... )

I have never had siblings...although Viral and perhaps Adiane were a little bit like them to me! But I would have been happy to have a brother who cared as much as you do. I don't know about justice, but I hope you find what you seek.

Then, perhaps, for you, the adage that one's truest siblings do not need to be connected by bloodlines is true.

I am grateful for your kindness, though at the moment I cannot say much for my characteristics as a brother if I could not provide some semblance of protection for Euphie and her friends.

I hope so.

Sometimes...there isn't anything you can do, even when you try your hardest. If your sister is as kind as you say, she'll understand that, and be glad you tried. I'm sure she will.

If that is how you feel, more than likely, it is so, is it not?

Perhaps. But Euphie is the sort who would forgive most any sort of misconduct, never mind mine.

. . . Not the best way to learn that you've returned to the city again, Suzaku. I hope that your sister and her friend have successfully resurrected?

As of yet, I've heard nothing. If they have been resurrected and are in hiding...well.

It worries me.

That is quite troubling. We'll certainly look into it. But if you do manage to get in contact with them, it would be best if we were able to speak to them directly.

Understood. Thank you for taking the trouble. If you are a member of the police, perhaps the City is not so corrupt as I was led to believe, after all.

Death, regardless of its fleeting nature here, still bears the same consequences that it does anywhere else. The perpetrator's flimsy excuse only further condemns him in his disregard for the gift of life.

The citizenry is not apathetic towards murder; on the contrary, it tends to be a very big deal here. Nonetheless, justice will be served one way or another.

You know the killer's identity?

If the citizenry is indeed not apathetic, perhaps I have yet to meet many of those sorts of people. I was unaccountably shocked to find following Euphie's death individuals using the fact that both would be revived an excuse for the killer's behavior.

Yes. Byakuran.

I'm shocked, as well. Not that it should matter, but what was the object that he stood to gain from murder?

Well, if you know who he is and he has confessed to the killings, his justifications for them should be irrelevant in the eyes of the law. I don't see how you could lose this case.

Brittannia? Does it hold any relation with the British Empire.

Did you contact the police? It's absurd that man thinks he can get away to murder two innocents so easily.

Not at all. The British Isles are quite independent from us.

Yes, they've been contacted. Yet, he is a powerful individual, and from what I've heard, unlikely to be fully restrained under the court system.

The geo-political situation of your world must be peculiar.

Private;

What are his powers? Do you know?
