So I was offered the job at the Murray hotel on Mackinac. If I decide to take the job I would start April 9th and leave for the Island on the 20th. Thats less than one month away... While working on Mackinac is awesome (Nick's friend's parents have a condo on the island), it can be pretty hard because there's long hours working for tourists, and there's little else to do after you're done working... except maybe drink. And that gets old very quickly. Plus the price of living there is expensive.

I love Mackinac, but I would never work there.

well, I get free housing and free food at the hotel. The hours will suck... 9 hours a day 6 days a week. But the money is good, almost twice what I'm making at RS.

Yeah... that's a good benefit. But working 9 hours a day, 6 days a week, on an island with no vacation for six months might get old...

If you take the job, maybe I'll see you when I go up there sometime this summer... I LOVE the island.
