Yeah all set to go to bed until Epilogue boots up on my computer as the next song. Gotta wait now. This song deserves to be listened to each and every time it starts, no matter what.

I didn't do anything today except take a nap, talk on the phone for about an hour, talk to Rick about parental issues he dealt with, and play my guitar a little. Wow I need a life. I know what life I want, but I gotta wait for it. :)

Read something on one of Kev's posts about how The Treason Wall by Dark Tranquillity had a "Maiden-esque moment" or something, so I popped the cd in. Am I messed up, or does like ALL Dark Tranquillity sort of sound like a darker, heavier version of Iron Maiden? Hmm...definitely hear the influence if nothing else.

Holy Christ the song "Wasted Years" by Iron Maiden is fucking awesome!! I liked it before, but for some reason it just sounds really damn good to me today. :) That opening...thing...is awesome and the solo rips.

Well I brought 4 demos to work. They were all snatched up pretty quick. I gotta bring more tomorrow. lol Margie, Doris, Beth, and Corey (the bald dude I moshed with at the last show) took em' all.

Came home to get some Tylenol for a headache and a demo for none other than...Margie! She wanted to listen to the new one as soon as I got into work and got through it about 4 times and requested one. :) Sweet little Margie's getting her first heavy metal cd today....and I couldn't be happier to be the one giving it to her. lol ( Read more... )
