My eyes hurt. But I broke my glasses and my contact lens are lost. This has to be the worst stroke of bad luck ever. I don't like feeling useless or out of control. But guess what? Someone got their hands on a paper shredder and decided to go crazy with my documents, I'm not amused. Really. Thank god for back ups.

No, it simply means that it isn't a chain of random events, but correlated. To put it simply, not independent probability. It can either mean that someone did it, or something someone or you did resulted in the increased probability of the other events occuring.
