Tiny parts. It also has to be customised to a person's height, width, and weight. Plus the shape of your ears and the whorls in them, for the amplifiers.

It's not exactly something that can be made for the masses. Sonar's tricky as a machine, because unlike bats, the machine can't detect how much vibration to use instinctively.
