What I would really want is to be buried without a coffin so I could decompose back into the earth. But apparently that's illegal, so I gotta hope I get offed and someone wants to hide the body.
There are some places you can be composted, but I dunno if you can in the US yet.
Read Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers. It's pretty much the most interesting, informative, easily readable, and funny book about what you can have done with your body ever. Probably the only book about it.. but yeah. Definitely read it.
There are few things that horrify me more than the thought of my body being consumed by various worms, parasites, and other icky things.
I remember having a conversation with my grandfather about it when my grandmother died (when I was 12). He explained to me that they had gotten some crazy extra-special even more vaccuum-sealed like-hell-anything-was-getting-in-there coffin. He was probably lying to me to make me feel better.
