[He...doesn't look exactly pleased. While he knows how to swim, the church is starting to get flooded, and there's no telling on when it's going to stop.]

Are we going to have to survive until Sunday with this downpour? How higher is the water going to rise? [He sighs.] There's little we can do to stop it, I assume. Is there anyone who needs

[You wanted a groggy vampire eavesdropping, didn't you?]

We should move food and books up higher, in case this does get worse. And [he kicks at the water that's creeping into their home] we should probably remind people to keep their shoes and feet dry. My father fought in the trenches; he always said the first thing to get a man was foot rot.

[Not really, but he figured he'd have one anyway.]

I was planning on doing that, especially the food. We can't risk what little we have getting spoiled or washing away.

My brother has sealed up the basement, but I doubt that will hold forever. [Which means they should start moving Johannes's lab up, but screw that.]

If any dead animals or strange vials float up from the lab, help me keep Alice away from them?

If the water rises too high, whatever door Johannes used to seal the basement may not hold due to the pressure. [He doesn't really give a damn about the lab either, though, honestly.]

And of course. Protecting her is one of my priorities.

No, I ought to be fine. I've been through worse situations.

I imagine the Animus don't intend to drown us all, so it shouldn't get too high. Then again, I suppose this much is annoying enough.

They really do seem to want to annoy us more than actually hurt us, don't they?

Yes. They certainly seem powerful enough to be able to kill us all without much effort, so they must want us around for some reason - even if it's only entertainment.

All we can do is move things to higher ground for now.

There really aren't many other options.
