Living on campus is what you make of it, no-one else. Everyone is free to choose their own college experience. Some people want to drink all the time, some people don't want to drink at all. If people are pressuring you into doing what you don't want to do, tell 'em to piss off :}

Good thing about my college is I can party and have great fun as much as I want, but as soon as I want quiet time I can just lock my door and be alone.
