DC sucks, Turkey good

My staunch anti-DC stance has allowed one title to sneak through. Y: The Last Man is fascinating stuff. I picked up Book 1 tonight and almost got through in one sitting. The rest will find their way into my wishlist, and possibly my grubby paws.

I still hate most everything DC puts out, but the Vertigo stuff works for me. Sandman and Preacher

I'm glad you're reconsidering your stance on MMJ. :) They're playing in Chicago tomorrow! However, the Black Keys are also playing, and that takes priority, as I have never seen them live.

MMJ helpin' the kids

I actually raised my interest level, and feel that there is the potential for redemption of the MMJ live performance arena. There are many bands, who I do not like much in the studio. I despise The Mars Volta's records, but I caught them opening for A Perfect Circle about a year ago, and they were insanely GOOD.

I acutally snagged a couple of tickets for the Rock for Riley show this weekend at Clowed, and MMJ is the headliner. I'll give 'em a chance and support the kids.
