Put together King's Eye Land: Soundtrack to 2006 this afternoon.

This one was easier than last year's, and twice as long. (Note: If you want 2005, act quickly because iTunes will delete it by the end of the month.)

I love "Let's Pretend We're Bunny Rabbits" and quite a lot of the Magnetic Fields' other masterworks. There are a couple that still bring tears to my eyes.

I also do this every year. Sometimes it's frustrating because I realize I don't own or have access to the particular songs that come to mind to encapsulate the year's experiences in just the way I'd like. Maybe I'll just break down and get a subscription to some online song download service.

Anyway, I'll look forward to hearing your musical year in review. Maybe it will kick me in the butt to get one done myself.

Being a Mac snob, it was just easier to put it on iTunes, and if someone far away wanted it, they could get it, or just preview stuff and check out some new thangs. Whatever.
