No promotion for me
So, for those of you who have been waiting with bated breath to find out if I got the management gig I was angling for, I didn't. That said, everyone involved, including the regional manager, who's the one who ultimately made the call, is still very excited about the idea of my taking that step, and they will be putting me on a development plan so

That sucks you didn't get the job...but yeah, being totally qualified and then STILL not geting it might have sucked a whole lot more.
You handled it well, I have to say. I'm one of those ppl who would have freaked out right off the bat and come to my senses much much much later.
