She was understandably devastated when she found out, and if you watch the video of when she accepted the Tony aware for this theatre, she could barely walk -- and today, you would never know. If she did not stand up there and tell us all, I would never have known that this artistic director of a major regional theatre has had MS for years.
There are many possible paths ahead of you, and I wish you and your family strength for whichever path may be yours.

You know, I got the same diagnosis in 2004, I think. I had numbness across my abdomen and they did lotsa tests and said it looked like MS. I got all the information and told my family.... Then the numbness went away and while I've had other abnormal bodily dysfunctions, I haven't had any more MS signs.
