This was so worth the wait. I made happy little noises throughout the entire thing. I loved Kakashi's awkwardness at being unmasked, and how he had to keep himself from tugging at his shirt. I really liked how Kakashi being such a good ninja worked against him in small ways--the tray not clattering, and catching things without making a mess. He's really good, but he's not superhuman, and he's not flawless. I loved the progression of the fake sex scenes. And that Iruka was very much "Naruto's teacher" in Kakashi's mind at first.
A few things:
"A bit bold, that one," the said, as they were walking down the hallway.
"Iruka's sleeping," Kakashi offered. "I'm here to pick up breakfast for him."
He'd know now that Kakashi and Iruka had tricked him and swapped clones for the two of him despite his closest surveillance.

The artwork is gorgeous! I'm sorry, I don't have the vocab for art, but. . . there's a softness to their features that I find very appealing, especially since it never crosses the line into cute. I really

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for commenting! I have to say -- all the Kakashi-is-not-perfect-this-is-awkward-things? Go thank pentapus because her feedback was key.
*headdesk* Hooray for spellcheck, which doesn't catch the stupid mistakes. Thank you so much for catching those! *off to fix*
I love the artwork so much, too! And the hands! I love the hands.
i loved this story a whole lot! i'm a sucker for fake relationships turning real, and i really really liked how you showed the ways kakashi was exhausted. the little details always help immerse a reader in a story, and this was a really wonderful story. :)
the art is SO PRETTY!! i love the clean lines of it, and AS;LDFKJSAL;FJ - i read this on AO3 so i didn't see the art until the very end, so i was so so curious to see what kakashi looked like with dark hair! and the artist's rendition of it is magnificent. a fantastic piece from both of you! <3
Just left a comment over at AO3 but had to spread the compliments over here. This fic was amazing, and not to mention the artwork! Dark haired Kakashi... something I never knew I wanted. ;) Bravo to both of you!!
That was awesome, and I really enjoyed having a nice plotty story that didn't focus on big flashy jutsu in the fight scene :). The illustration was gorgeous and atmospheric and fit really well with the story.
Thank you! I feel like we get a lot of Big Bad Jutsu Fights, but there have to be others, don't there? (Especially since Kakashi's not in the best shape!)
So I went for it. And I felt very lucky to get such a lovely illustration. :)
