It doesn't sound bad at all. The question is what kind of work do you want to do - what can you imagine yourself doing with your life? Maybe social work doesn't rake in the big bucks but are you more into the cash or the idea of helping people? And also, if you do choose something now, if you change your mind, is there the ability to switch to something else?

I changed my major 3 years in to university. Always, you have the ability to change your mind.
My friend Jess is dong a Linguistics degree, and I'm doing a Psych/English degree. If i have the chance, i'm going to do a linguistics major too, because it is really interesting, and with a job like that, you can do it anywhere. Things to think about for sure. But relax- its usually general stuff to begin with, and almost all courses help you on your way to a degree. My advice? Take English, Psych, Linguistics, French and Sociology. Pick later :D
