Once Arthur's date plans were sorted he could relax. He had the names of four restaurants and a pub that served decent food. He hoped one of them would be to Merlin's liking. Awww I love earnest Arthur and all his plans! I have a feeling this might all be a bit of a shock to his new mate though... ;)

I love how supportive all his pack are, and Arthur's instant bond with Merlin, that's such a kink of mine <3

OP here. I am very impressed that Arthur is putting in a lot of thought in the planning of their first date. And I giggled when everyone automatically looked at Gwaine as the resident date expert. Really excited to see their first date!

Merlin found he didn't mind Arthur sounding possessive. It was nice really. He wouldn’t object if Arthur pulled over the car and kissed him senseless. He'd never felt like that on a first date before. He was disappointed they would be a public place where displays of affection probably wouldn't be permitted ( ... )

Aww, they're on a date! I love how they both have different conceptions of how certain things work - that Arthur isn't quite sure how to act entirely human, and that other things are important to him. And the UST is totally delicious, anon!

OP here. First date, finally! Arthur is so adorable in his confusion over human dating rituals and his worry about Merlin possibly being vegetarian. I love how Merlin is also possessive over Arthur. I can't wait to see him interacting with the rest of the Camelot pack. Thanks for the update, dear author. =)
