Arthur/Merlin, Gwaine/Merlin, Arthur/Gwaine

Merlin finds it hard to choose between Arthur and Gwaine and can't bring himself to give either of them up. Eventually, Arthur and Gwaine end up choosing each other.

Variation

Arthur/Merlin, Gwaine/Merlin, Arthur/Gwaine/Merlin

Same plot but 'Eventually Arthur and Gwaine choose to be together WITH Merlin. Not without teasing Merlin that they'll choose each other'.

Oh, that was really bittersweet. I love that in some ways, it was the best thing for Merlin, the in a way they could all be quite happy like that. Really nicely done, Anon.

Thank you. I'm fond of A/G/M, but the fact that Merlin is usually in the middle in those (the ones I read anyway) made me want to write something different. I couldn't bear for any of them to be truly unhappy, though -- I'm glad the ending worked for you.

Thank you. I like poly stories, too, but I wanted to break away from the usual A/G/M with Merlin in the middle plot -- I'm happy you liked it.
