This is a terrible reason to finally get back online with you guys, and so much has happened in RL that I couldn't even catch you up on all of it, but this more than anything made me want to reach out to my online friends, because no one could understand like you would ( Read more... )

I think anyone who's ever enjoyed any kind of comic book owes him a debt.

And he looked like he was having so much fun, too. I guess he was, since he was living his dream.

My heart goes out to every Marvel fan out there. The comic book fandom lost one of its finest champions.

"There aren't enough words to praise this man for his contributions to our entertainment and imagination..." agreed and I agree with everything you've said. The word legend is overused, but Mr Lee was one.

PS It's good to see a post from you, even under such sad circumstances *hugs*

People who don't even read comic books know who he was. If that doesn't say "legend," I don't know what does!

Good to be back, instead of letting the guilt build from being gone so long. (((((hugs back)))))

Ah, you don't need to feel guilty, it's lovely to have you back, whenever you can make it :)

Hey there, it's good to see you no matter what.

I saw Stan Lee at a convention a couple of years ago. He walked right by me, going so fast I only had time to gape at his back. I hope I'll be like that when I'm 90.

It's good to be back, instead of sitting around feeling guilty because I've been gone so long and missed so much.

I know! To look at those movie cameos, I'd never have guessed he was 95, because he sure didn't move like a person that old! That must be what it feels like to live your dream, I guess -- you're just filled with an energy that comes from loving your life.
